Lunchroom Visit

 We practiced what it will be like when we are Kindergartners going into the lunchroom!  We got our milk, trays and snack foods and said down with friends.  We have some very excited kids ready to sit in the lunchroom next year!

We had our last Star Student last week with a great friend... Skylar!  Skylar is sweet, happy and so thoughtful of all her friends and teachers.  She is always looking to help others.  We loved learning more about Skylar through her poster, pictures, show-n-tell and mermaid story.

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day with loved ones yesterday!  Singing, creating a quilt square and sharing some donuts were highlights from our special celebration. Thank you to all the Dad's, Grandpas and anyone else who celebrates Father's Day, for all you do!

Star Student

 Last week we loved getting to know our friend Sebastian even more during his Star Student week!  Sebastian is kind, caring and always works hard in our classroom.  It was fun to learn more about him through his poster, pictures, show-n-tell items and a super silly book about pirates and underpants that made us all giggle.  

Mystery Reader

We were so lucky to have a Mystery Reader today!   Liam's sister, Andi, joined our classroom and read us two perfect stories by one of our favorite authors... Mo Willems!  She read I Broke My Trunk and  Waiting is Not Easy.  It was even more special since Andi is a first grader here at Parkview.

We had another terrific Mystery Reader yesterday!  Hailey's Mom joined us and read us three stories that gave us so many connections and laughs.  She read us Little Blue Truck, How to Catch a Mermaid and I'm on It.

Star Student

 Last week we celebrated one of our sweet friends as Star Student.... Norah!  Norah is like a bright light in our classroom, always smiling, always helping others and always showing so much care to all her friends.  It was so nice getting to know her more through her sparkly poster, pictures and show-n-tell.

 What a special day we had celebrating our moms and loved ones! Thank you to all who were able to join us, we sure had some happy and excited kids. :)

Star Student

Our Star Student last week was our friend, Myriam!  Myriam is sweet, playful, happy and always making friends smile.  She is kind to everyone in our classroom including her teachers.  We loved learning more about Myriam from her poster, pictures, show-n-tell and story she brought from home.  

Mystery Reader

We were so fortunate to begin our day with a Mystery Reader on Tuesday!  Mabel's Dad joined us first thing and read us 3 of Mabel's favorite stories.  He read us If You Give a Moose a Muffin, Ballerina Beautiful and Big Shark's Valentines Surprise.  We always love to begin our day with a Mystery Reader!

Last week Friday, we had a wonderful visit from Ellie's Dad as Mystery Reader!  He read us two perfect stories and even had the help of Ellie to read it. :)  The stories he read were The Pigeon Has to Go to School and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.  It was sure great to end our week this way!
